This training was followed by a study visit in France, at the Poisy breeding center for 7 of the participants, organized with the help of IDELE / BCTI.

In addition, all participants visited the farm and processors to share their experience and best practices. It is planned to organize a number of training courses for farmers with the participation of these newly trained specialists.

Here are some comments from participants:

“I learned a lot and gained a lot of experience from this practical and theoretical training, which took place from 12 to 16 March at the Poisy breeding center and organized as part of the European project on the dairy sector.

I think that the breeding center of Poisy has an important role in the development of the livestock sector in France in general, and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in particular.

I actively participated in all the training, in class and in the field, which was very well organized and taught by highly qualified trainers and pedagogues. I must admit that the program of this 5-day training included topical, interesting and current topics on the dairy and livestock industry. Overall, I have gained profound knowledge on many topics, such as the organization of breeding, reproduction, heat detection and management, global care and healthy lifestyle of the flock, the techniques of milkings , the preparation of rations, the quality of milk and its requirements, common diseases and how to prevent and treat them, the care of calves, dehorning, forage reserves and their crops …

In addition to that, I had an enriching experience during the trainings received on the farm and in the processing units visited during the visits.

In this regard, I would like to express my personal gratitude and on behalf of the agricultural institute of Andijan to Adecia, the Giz as well as the breeding center of Poisy for the organization of this training. I thank all the organizers.
